Research Participants Wanted!

Who are we looking for?
  •     Autistic women (over the age of 18 years) who have received a formal diagnosis of autism/Asperger's, and who have past or current diagnosis of anorexia nervosa 
  •    Family members of autistic women with anorexia nervosa 
  •   Health care professionals, who have experience of working with individuals with anorexia nervosa and/or autism

What would happen if I took part in the study?

If you decide to take part in the research study, you would be interviewed by a researcher from our team on your experiences of eating disorders in autistic women.
You would contribute to research, that hopes to inform future research and clinical practice so that eating disorders services and other mental health services will become more accessible for autistic individuals.


Will I get paid?

Participants who take part will be offered £10 in cash to thank them for their time.

  1. Very valuable research, given that autism has been reported to have a 20% co-morbidity rate with eating disorders! Looking forward to reading the report.
